Exploring Pegu (Bago), the capital of Mon Kingdom, highlight such as Kyakhatwine Monastery where thousands of monks are study and live, the reclining Shwetharlyaung Buddha image, Shwemawdaw Pagoda and Kyaikpun Pagoda. Enjoy exciting truck ride to Kyaikhteeyo Pagoda (Golden Rock) and overnight in one of the most religious cultural places of the region.

Day1: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo(B) (Guide) (B/L/D)

Full day excursion out of Yangon to Golden rock Via through BAGO (84 km, 1½ hours). En Route, visit of the Kyaik Ka Wine Monestary, the largest monastery in town where thousands of monk gather morning food there. Continue drive to KYAIKHTIYO to see the famous 'Golden Rock'. (Lunch at local Restaurant) Bago.
After lunch, continue onward to KYAIKTIYO the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Travelers must, at present, walk the final stage, approx. 4 km, to the GOLDEN ROCK. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo, Golden Rock Hotel.
On arrival, watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site.

Day2: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon (B) (Guide) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, climb-down and drive to Bago. In Bago visit Shwemawdaw, one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar; the famous Kalyani Sima (ordination Hall); Shwethalyaung, the most lifelike of Reclining Buddhas. After lunch, Kyaikpun Pagoda, four high and huge Buddha images from there drive back to Yangon and a downtown tour colonial area with the historical buildings will start, breaking at a local teashop to enjoy Burmese tea and the typical atmosphere.. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon - Int’l Departure (B) (Guide) (B/L/D)

Visit morning sightseeing in YANGON, Continue visit Botahtaung Pagoda beside the river. Shopping at Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Monday) with hundreds of stores and visit of a gems shop. Today sightseeing will conclude the tour of this picturesque Garden City. Transfer to the International airport.for EVENING departure. End of the service

Highlight

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, also known as Golden Rock) is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Myanmar.
It is a small pagoda (7.3 metres (24 ft)) built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves The balancing rock seems to defy gravity, as it per petually appears to be on the verge of rolling down the hill.
The rock and the pagoda are at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo.
