Getting out onto the water is naturally the most popular way to experience Inle Lake. Every morning long-tailed outboard motors surges forth, transporting visitors to various natural, cultural, religious and historic sites. Nyaung Shwe, on the northern edge of the lake, is the base for setting out on motorboat trips – every hotel and guesthouse in town can help arrange one, or just wait for a boat captain to approach you in the street.

DAY 1 Meet and Greet at Airport/Hotel! (Option request for quote)
Note Yangon excursion: The Yangon Circular Train will give you a chance to mingle with the friendly locals and get a glimpse into their laid back and almost stress free life style. Don’t forget to take your camera to capture some of the most picturesque sceneries along the way.
DAY 2 Yangon- Heho airport – Inle
Transfer by car for domestic flight to Heho airport. From Airport, we take short drive to unique and magical Inle Lake, which is located 1,328 meters above sea level and is 22 km long and 11 km wide. Highlights include the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen and the gardens of grass and earth floating on the surface of this shallow lake used for growing vegetables. Besides the enjoyment of the scenery we can also visit the ‘jumping cats’ monastery, Phaungdaw U Pagoda, silk weaving, cheroot making and other cottage industries. Overnight on Inle Lake.
DAY 3 Inle - Heho - Yangon- airport
On our second day on the lake we will take a boat ride to visit a local village and observe their life style. There can be some short trekking to visit to the villages if desired. Transfer by car for domestic flight (evening) back to Yangon. Dinner Own arrangement and overnight at Hotel in Yangon
DAY 4 Yangon – Departure
In the morning, we start for a sightseeing tour that includes the old colonial-style city center with the gilded SULE PAGODA, then continue to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image followed by a photo stop made at KARAWEIK HALL, a royal floating barge and a visit of a gems shop.
After lunch, Yangon sightseeing includes KABA AYE (WORLD PEACE) PAGODA, MAHAPASANA GUHA CAVE, where the Sixth Buddhist Council took place and Rangoon's oldest Chinese temple. An extended visit to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude today's sightseeing tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold.
